My name is Kevin Palma I am a former customer of Albert banking
and I would like to dispute this unbelievable business act from
Albert. I signed up for Albert banking not long ago and recently
they decided to close my account without providing further
details or any information at all.
1. The date of the fraudulent
transactions listed on my account was beginning Mar 18, 2022
and continued until I was able to use my brother's phone to log
into my account on August 12, 2022. I have not had a phone
since then and that is the reason why I could not log into my
banking using the app. 2.
Upon checking the account, I
discovered small fraudulent transactions in the amount of $10.52
for Domino's Pizza and I have already explained to Albert that my
phone was stolen. I have no control over the transactions made
from Mar 18, 2022 until August 12, 2022. All of my data was
compromised and I have tried to reach out to Albert in an email
explaining my case but they do not believe me and I have filed a
police report with Dunkin' Donuts regarding the case. 3.
I was
using a different phone number back then and I can see why they
believe it's suspicious activity but the way they handled my case. I have not received a reply nor response from Albert since then and their only form of contact is by email support@***.com and their number is an automated robot that does not provide any help at all. wow.
Albert.com is a scam and not a great business for putting your money. Please stay away and go to another one

This all started mid-June when I decided to change banks from Chime to Albert. A few days later I received a message on Facebook that I won an amount of bitcoin and that if I paid $800.00 I would receive a cash payout for paying the sale fees.
I was scammed and Albert is refusing to give my money back and on top that every one of the customer service agents talk exactly like the scammers. The money was taken on June 29th, 2022.
1 payment of $300
3 payments of $200
1 payment of $100
After that, all of a sudden, there was an additional payment of $700. That's when I was able to cancel one of the $200.00 transactions. That went back to my bank and Albert then decided that was Apple Cash refunding one of the $200.00.
When that transaction was returned even though I canceled it myself; Albert is saying that Apple Cash refunded one of the transactions, meaning that they were going to deny all four disputes I had started on July 07th, 2022 and said that I can get my money back from the merchant. WHAT MERCHANT??? I sent over 150 screenshots, which included a police report.
None of it mattered, I was forced to go to
Apple support (you can only imagine how useless they are). Which will be the next report!!!
RUN far away from that Albert App; honestly, I feel they are the scammers on Facebook.
Getting people to join Albert App and then contacting them on Facebook with a scam to take your money. I am starting to feel, due to the way the scammers and the agents type/word their sentences exactly the same. One of the customer service reps for Albert said something exactly the scammers typed, that my finances and account information is safe with them. Exactly, what the scammers said as well (not exact words but when they said I started to have a realization that this company is tied to these Facebook Bitcoin scams).
I feel that Albert employees are the one and the same as the Facebook Bitcoin scammers.
None of my bills, rent, and has ruined my credit that I was trying to repair so that I can get my therapy pet a surgery he needs. My therapy pets are a team of two, they help me unravel my PTSD attacks. It takes a team of two to help me get out of my attacks. After all said and done, they will not return my money that was stolen.
At the end, Albert instead of refunding what they know they should; instead when I called them out they went and canceled my debit card.
Telling my I have ten days to transfer my funds out of the account. A whole $1.64 that should be $803.64, they stole my money and I have filed so many reports.
I have no idea where to go or what to do.
I have already filed a complaint against them to the App Store. Next will be Google Play and filing a police report against Albert and Green Dot bank, who also will not refund my money.

There is nothing but complaints of Albert stealing money from people, accounts being made in peoples names that have not created an account, and the fact that Albert does not have customer service

i deposited a check that i really needed to pay my rent a full week before it was due. a week later, rent is due and the funds did not hit my account.
i reached out to see if they could expedite them and they had asked for screenshot of the pending deposit. i sent the screenshots and they said there is nothing they could do as it was still within the 5-7 business days.
i then needed to borrow a large amount of money to pay my rent and asked when i could expect the money. they were totally vague and kept saying "after the funds have been submitted." i asked to speak to someone on the phone and they said they found it "best" to help via SMS and email.
they finally told me that i could expect the money after the 7th business day and that i was on the 6th business day.
i borrowed the money promising that i would be able to pay it back within 2 days (i added an extra day because i did not want to break a promise). fast forward two days later (which would have been the 8th business day) i am gaslit and told that it is actually the 7th business day and i won't get the money until tomorrow.
i was so upset since i was told two days prior something different.
i brought that up, sent screenshots, asked again to speak to someone and they gave the the same scripts over again.
it ended with them telling me "i'm sorry you feel that way" like my livelihood is some joke to them. i spent hours texting back and forth with "someone" and not once did they take any sort of accountability for the misinformation that they gave me and they just continued to send me the same CX scripts over and over.
Preferred solution: i would like to actually speak to someone about my experience

Preferred solution: I would like to get the refund that they have promised me back immediately not in 3 to 5 days due to I live in a motel and have to pay daily and that was my rent for the next two nights which so happened to be the coldest nights of the week

On May1st my disability check deposited however when I went on May2nd to get my rent money out my card was not working. I contacted them and advised them of the situation and have emailed them and texted every day since the second of May.
They just now responded that the 1000 that was taken out of my account are not fraudelent charges so I will not get any money back. They said they researched and that was the result however the only month they researched was Mays. If they had gone back several months they would if seen a definite pattern whereas I used the ATM to retrieve my rent money,they would see where my bills for my phone Hulu, Internet and another bill I was paying off. Why would I jeopardize my house by buying 1000 dollars worth of merchandise I never ordered or received.
Also, no phone number to speak to anyone either email or text. What kind of business does not have a phone number for customers to call?
